SALVATORE FERRAGAMO

F/W 2019

On February 2019 in Milan, Paul Andrew and Guillaume Meilland explored for Autumn/Winter 2019 and figure into the zeitgeist as an antidote to its pervasive unrest. It drew inspiration from the Florentine house's illustrious heritage with footwear boasting sculpted heels, oodles of leather ready-to-wear and plenty of colour to boot. The combined womenswear and menswear collections went beyond outerwear and footwear, however, to include beautiful pieces ideal for day and night.
The campaign for the season was 'Patchwork of Characters', from the iconic patchwork heritage of the house’s original creations made out of numerous materials and endless colour variations.

Italian show producers, Random, reached out to a creative studio I was creative producer for at the time in London, Satore, to implement lighting design for the show.

Our brief entailed lighting design that would embrace the natural lighting of the beautiful MUBA (Museo dei Bambini Milano) building.
This historic space of neutral interiors is designed to bring in natural light that flood the interiors through very large windows, so the design implementation that we created was a subtle atmosphere, giving the impression of a sunrise; However during the show, the lighting was bright enough to expose the materials of the collection, especially for the photographer's and media.
